The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has declared the results of IInd professional MBBS annual examination 2012. A total of 3086 candidates of 22 affiliated medical colleges appeared in the exam held in November 2012, out of which 2200 passed whereas 763 were declared fail. The result of 123 candidates will be declared later on. The overall pass percentage remained 74.25%, a spokesman of the UHS said.
Iqra Arshad d/o Mian Arshad Mahmood of Shalamar Medical and Dental College Lahore got first position securing 862/1000 marks. Fatima Khalid d/o Khalid Mahmood of Avicenna Medical College, Lahore and Sadaf Faisal Bhopal d/o Faisal Ghafoor Bhopal of Wah Medical College got second and third positions securing 854/1000 and 847/1000 marks, respectively. The spokesman said that failed candidates can submit their admission forms on or before January 22, 2013. Supplementary examination will commence with effect from February 13, 2013.
