Jamiate Ulema-e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Khyber agency slammed the aerial bombardment on traditional tribal Loya Jirga (grand council) in Sarhokha Maidan, area of Tirah valley, Khyber Agency, demanding for immediate stop for bloodshed of innocent tribal people.
Speaking at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Monday, the JUI-F Senior Vice president, Khyber Agency, Haji Shamsuddin Afridi said that tribal people gathered in a traditional Jirga, suddenly came under jetfighter strikes, in which killing 14 innocent people.
Accompanied by the party secretary information from the Khyber Agency, Saadat Khan Afridi, he claimed that neither local nor foreign militants were killed in the attack, but a local tribal people fallen prey in the unauthorised aerial bombardment. "Tribal people are not terrorists, but patriotic citizens of this state, he maintained. In the attack, he informed houses of two businessman had targeted in which left 14 people including six children girls and boys, eights women were killed while ten others injured.
