The famous automotive company McLaren is working on its upcoming hybrid hypercar, which will reportedly be the company’s fastest car ever.

The upcoming limited-edition McLaren Ultimate Series ‘Hyper-GT’, codenamed BP23 is all set to be a really fast machine. This hybrid hypercar will outdo the classic McLaren F1 from the 1990s.

The McLaren F1 previously reached a maximum speed of 243mph (391km/h) and, according to the automotive company, its new forthcoming car will hit or exceed the mark of 249mph (400km/h), which will be McLaren’s highest top speed of any of its car till yet, reported Engadget.

Nissan’s new high-tech SUV is more than just a car

The car will feature nods to the original McLaren F1 including its centrally mounted driver seat lined with the passenger seats. The completed vehicles will be done as per any particular’s customer’s taste as they will be demonstrated through by McLaren’s Special Operations division.

Moreover, McLaren has not yet entirely revealed details about the new car including the car’s actual top speed and its actual name. Autocar reported that the British automaker’s CEO Mike Flewitt said he wanted his latest model to have a proper name “rather than an alphanumeric designation,” which means the world would have to wait a little more in order to know the final name for McLaren’s new hybrid car.
