The time when the world’s biggest rocket by SpaceX, the Falcon Heavy, was launched, CEO Elon Musk promised that he would provide a short film based on its launch and he delivered his promise.

Fulfilling his promise, Musk posted the short video named ‘Falcon Heavy and Starman’ on his Instagram account, which was created by the team behind the American TV series ‘Westworld’.

Video Credits: SpaceX

The almost two minutes long video shows everything from people waiting for the launch, the revealing and manufacturing of the Tesla Roadster car and the Falcon Heavy rocket, the launch of the rocket and the car in space and finally to the sports car along with the dummy spaceman ‘Starman’ into the space, all with David Bowie’s ‘Life On Mars?’ playing in the background. The video ends with the focus on one of the car’s part that had ‘Made on Earth by humans’ written on it.

After science, Elon Musk is moving towards comedy

Musk also made sure not to just include the good parts and ignore the mishaps that happened during the launch. The video includes the part when the center booster of the rocket was lost after failing to land on a drone ship after detachment from the rocket post-launch.

The posts came in soon after Musk made an appearance at the South by Southwest festival 2018 Westworld panel. Musk said, “There are a lot of terrible things happening all over the world, all the time. There are lots of problems that need to get solved. There are lots of things that are miserable and kind of get you down. But life cannot just be about solving one miserable thing after another. That can’t be the only thing. There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity.”
