Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Lahore President Mohammad Pervaiz Malik has said that after next general elections, the persons like Manzoor Wattoo will not be seen in the national politics. He added that the people would reject those elements having political record full of corruption and loot and they would have to face a crushing defeat.
Commenting upon the statement of Manzoor Wattoo, the PML-N leader said Manzoor Wattoo might have forgotten his defeat in 1993 elections when the people had refused to support him in his two constituencies due to hatching conspiracies against Nawaz Sharif and he had become MPA on borrowed seat from Tandlianwala but after becoming Chief Minister through conspiracies, he could not continue with People's Party. Now on what basis he is again claiming to compete with PML-N, Malik questioned?
He said Manzoor Wattoo would fully realise his political position in the upcoming general elections, adding that Manzoor Wattoo did not lose any chance of political bargaining in 2008 elections and made a deal with Zardari & Co, against a ministry. He said now Manzoor Wattoo was going to play on a new political wicket but he would be clean bowled again.
The PML-N leader said that instead of levelling allegations against PML-N, Manzoor Wattoo should tell the people that why he was removed as Production Minister and now on what assurances and deals he had got the provincial leadership of the party from Zardari. He said it would be better for Manzoor Wattoo to face the disgruntle 'Jialas' of PPP instead of worrying about others. He said people were fully aware of the performance of PML-N and expressed the hope that they would give full mandate to Sharif brothers in coming elections.
