City police on Sunday arrested 73 suspects allegedly involve in different criminal activities during different raids in various parts of city. The Sharafi Goth police arrested 18 accused including seven robbers namely Qamar, Salman, Rahmat Ali, Ahmed Khan, Arshad, Sanaullah and Inayat Zada and recovered 5 pistols and 35 cartridges from their possession.
Others accused nabbed by police from different areas include Salim, Ahmed Yar, Muhammad Ishaq, Imam Bux. Police also recovered 5 pistols from their possession. Awami Colony police arrested 20 street criminals. They had been identified as Ghulam Hussain, Sadam, Niaz alias Ghulam, Muhabat alias Asif, Jamil Shah, Shoaib Chandio, Ajmal Chandio, Majeed, Imran, Junaid and others. Thirty five criminals were arrested in the jurisdiction of New Karachi Industrial Area police station and recovered 11 pistols and snatched mobile phones from their possession.
