JUI-F MPA to move privilege motion against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Secretary Home

A member of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI-F) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Mufti Kifaytullah on Monday announced to bring a privilege motion against the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs and Political Administration Kurram Agency for allegedly keeping him in habeas corpus and not allowing to participate in a public gathering in the agency.
Speaking at a media persons here at MPA hostel, the JUI leader demanded of the federal government to remove the incumbent Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar and bring a competent person at such a responsible position. Kifayat informed that he was on his way to participate in the 'Tajdar Khatm-e-Nabuwat Conference' in Kurram Agency, where a political administration personnel Ashiq stopped him at Chapri check-post and on pretext took to Rest House and kept in habeas corpus for a long time, he added.
"On too much insistence when we came out of the Rest House all the doors were locked, but due to the JUI-F workers interference we came out of the check-post but the administration once again stopped us at Arwalai check-post, he maintained. The political administration stopped us aimed not to participate, but after the JUI workers held a set-in against the political administration release us but then a rumour was spread that information of three suicide attackers were received, he maintained.
JUI-F MPA made it clear that he will bring separate privilege motions against Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, provincial secretary Interior, and Political Agent Kurram agency at the floor of the assembly. He also demanded of the federal government to immediately remove the incumbent Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and bring a capable person. He also alleged that the drama of Tahirul Qadri was tried to give constitutional protection but we were deprived of even our legal and constitutional rights.
