President Zardari, who is currently in London to attend a trilateral conference for Afghan peace, telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and inquired about his health. He expressed his concern over his chest infection. The President prayed for his good health and expressed best wishes. Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik also held a meeting with the MQM Co-ordination Committee members in London and discussed the current political situation in Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Rehman Malik said that the Pakistan People's Party, along with its allies, would foil all conspiracies against democracy in the country.
