Two alleged bandits killed in encounter

At least two alleged bandits were killed while a cop sustained injuries during police encounter in the limits of Nazimabad police station. According to SHO Sajid Javeed, police patrolling party intercepted two suspects riding on a bike near Gol Market area. Resultantly, these alleged bandits opened indiscriminate gunshots on police with the aim to get escaped under the cover of firing that led to injury to police constable Mansooro son of Munawar.
During police retaliation, both suspects sustained fatal bullet wounds and died on spot. He said one of the alleged bandits was identified as Ali, 30 while the identity of other suspect was yet to be ascertained. The bodies and the injured cop were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for legal formalities and treatment. No case was registered till filing of this report.
