At least 10 suspected militants were killed and their hideouts destroyed after jet fighter planes pounded their positions in Orakzai Agency on Wednesday. According to sources, the jet fighter planes backed by forces targeted Arghanjo and Landay Qamar areas which are situated at Mamozai area of Upper tehsil of Orakzai Agency.
The planes hit militant's positions at about 3:15pm. As a result of which, at least 10 militants were killed, while four of their hideouts were also destroyed. People from the area have started migration to downtowns as forces have accelerated it action against the militants. The government forces have time and again claimed that 90 percent area of the agency has been cleared of the militants, but it has also been learnt that at Mamozai area, militants are still active.
