Rapid Bus Service Project is a marvelous achievement of the Punjab government that would not only cut the cost of doing business but would also help highlight the country as a good destination for investment. The Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) Chairman Sohail Lashari and LCCI former President Mian Anjum Nisar stated this in a statement on Wednesday.
They said that the business community appreciates the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for completing this huge project in only eleven months time. They said that the project is going to be a huge relief. It means a farewell to overloaded decrepit mini-vans and ramshackle buses often driven by drivers without either road sense or safety. A special road, most of which is an overhead bridge would enable the people to commute from one corner of the city and around, quickly and comfortably. They said that the new road built alongside, would also ease traffic congestion on one of the city's busiest roads.
They said that the project has many facets as on the one hand it would made available transport facility to all while on the other hand it would cut the cost of doing business besides timely delivery of goods at marketplace. They said that the RBS also provided much-needed support to not only the construction sector but steel, cement industries and other allied sectors were the direct beneficiary of this eight kilometer long project.
