President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Lahore on Friday. He was received at the airport by Governor Punjab Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Manzoor Wattoo, Mujtaba Shuja-u-Rehman, senior officials and members of the PPP. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf also met the president. The President would be in the city for four-days where he is expected to meet the PML-N head Nawaz Sharif and condole with him on the death of his brother Abbas Sharif.
President Zardari is also expected to chair meetings of his party in his visit.
