Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) deputy convenor, Dr Farooq Sattar has said that failure in election reforms in two months would mean to sustain the old outdated system which was not acceptable at all. Addressing a seminar of Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors here on Saturday, Dr Farooq Sattar said that all political parties after success in general elections should ensure local bodies polls across the country.
He claimed that if the local bodies' elections were not held it would create hurdles for democratic process which was not in favour of country and its people also.
