Pakistan Bar Council on Saturday recommended to the federal government to file an independent petition in the Supreme Court with a plea for the constitution of a larger bench in order to what he said avoid future controversies over judges' seniority in their appointments in the superior court once and for all.
Talking to Business Recorder, vice-chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Syed Qalbe Hassan said that the federal government is morally and legally bound to implement the court's verdict in response to the presidential reference on the judges' appointment in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
