The Sanjan Nagar Public Education Trust (SNPET) has plans to set up 100 cluster schools across the country with an objective to offer international standard quality education to around 100,000 disadvantaged children, mostly girls. According to a news release issued here on Monday, this was stated by SNPET managing trustee Dr Baela Raza Jamil while speaking at Sanjan Nagar School and College sports day on school campus on Ferozepur Road.
She said the school's main as well as Nishtar Town campuses were offering quality education at par with international standards at a very low fee. She said the school had started its functions in 1994 and its graduates were studying at country's top colleges including Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Forman Christian College and Kinnaird College. She said the school had also started International Baccalaureate primary education programme.
The school students participated in different events including PT display, march past, races, aerobics, cricket and kabadi matches, Wushu and fancy dress show. Among others a polio-hit girl Noor won a race on wheelchair. Fancy dress show participants Naqash Kazmi and Aman Kazmi said that they enjoyed the sports day as they acted as Jerry.
