The University of Lahore (UOL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tambov State Technical University (TSTU) of Russia. Pro-Rector (Academics) of UOL Professor Nasir Mahmood and the Vice-Rector for International Relations of TSTU Professor Elena Mischenko signed the agreement recently.
The signing of MOU will initiate and facilitate co-operation between the two universities and the two countries. Within the framework of the fields of common interests, both universities will encourage the exchange and mutual participation of scholars, academic staff and students in exhibitions, lectures, conferences, symposia and workshops. UOL and TSTU agree on establishing joint degree programmes between corresponding departments of both universities and in promoting the activities of joint research in fields of common interest.
