Karachi Kings superstar all rounder Shahid Afridi would not be available for his side tonight (Wednesday) at Pakistan Super League (PSL) eliminator against Peshawar Zalmi due to knee injury.
“Very disappointed at missing the match today. Like last year PSL final in Lahore I won't be able to play due to injury in Pakistan. I wish Kings the very best, hope that we have another thrilling match and a win for Kings,” stated Afridi on social media.

As per reports, Mukhtar Ahmed, Zulfiqar Babar and Danish Aziz will be joining the Karachi Kings squad. Whereas, the inclusion of Kings skipper Imad Wasim, who was injured earlier also remains not finalized.
On March 2, the veteran superstar Afridi injured his knee and went on to miss out the action of PSL. The injury of the superstar came as a major blow for the Kings, which have been the main wicket taker for the side in the tournament so far. The Pakistani superstar also underwent MRI scan for his injured knee at UAE.
Meanwhile, the Karachi Kings will be facing eliminator one winner Peshawar Zalmi in a knock out match at Lahore tonight, which will decide the second finalist of PSL and will face the Islamabad United on Sunday at Karachi.
