Kings name new captain, as Imad too ruled out after Afridi
Karachi Kings have named Mohammad Amir as their new captain, as both their superstar all rounders Shahid Afridi and Imad Wasim will not be available for tonight’s eliminator against Peshawar Zalmi at Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Lahore due to injuries.
Afridi, who is facing knee issues, tweeted: “Very disappointed at missing the match today. Like last year's PSL final in Lahore, I won’t be able to play due to injury in Pakistan. I wish Kings the very best, hope that we have another thrilling match and a win for Kings.”

On the other hand, Wasim, who suffered a concussion while taking a catch of Sohail Khan during the round matches of the league, hasn’t recovered yet.
As per reports, Mukhtar Ahmed, Zulfiqar Babar and Danish Aziz will be joining the Karachi Kings squad.
The Karachi Kings will be facing eliminator one winner Peshawar Zalmi in a knock out match at Lahore tonight, which will decide the second finalist of PSL and will face the Islamabad United on Sunday at Karachi.
