Weird mythical sea creature washes up on beach confusing experts
The sea is full of wonders and mysterious creatures and one of such mysterious creatures has recently washed up on a beach in Georgia, confusing researchers and residents.
The strange creature was discovered by a resident Jeff Warren while he was boating with his son at the Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge in Golden Isles in Georgia. The creature was initially misunderstood as a dead seal by Warren until he realized it was something more peculiar.
As Science Alert describes, the weird creature, about five foot long, had a long neck and fins, which Warren referred to as a type of prehistoric monster, more precisely a ‘Loch Ness Monster’ – a mythical aquatic creature.

Warren captured footage and shared it with local news stations along with reaching out to the US Fish and Wildlife Services in order to let them know about his bizarre finding. However, even the experts were left confused and had no clue about the creature.
According to National Geographic, some of the marine scientists think that the creature might be some kind of decomposing fish or maybe a complete hoax. They believe that without any physical samples, the creature’s origins cannot be studied. A marine biologist Quinton White said, “That could easily be faked. We think someone’s playing a joke on us.”
