Fesco organises save energy campaign

Participation of every person in Save Energy Campaign is imperative to drag out country from energy crisis said Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco). Addressing a Save Energy rally organised by Fesco in collaboration with Shiblee Group of Colleges and USAID Power Distribution Programme, he said that Pakistan was facing energy crisis for the last many decades.
The distribution companies were making best efforts for the efficient load management without inflicting any lose to the industrial, agricultural and commercial sector. He said that energy wastage was yet another factor which needs to be ratified by cultivating a culture of efficient use of energy. He said that it was call of the time to save energy by motivating all segments particularly youth in save energy campaign. He said that billions of foreign exchange is required to generate one mega watt of electricity and by saving electricity we cold not only save foreign exchange but also ensure electricity for productive sector of industry, agriculture and commercial.
