Member National Assembly Pervaiz Malik has said that Rehman Malik cannot mislead the nation by levelling allegations against Pakistan Muslim League-N of having relations with sectarian organisations; neither can he evade blame for failure in protecting life and property of the people.
He said that PML-N has no contacts with terrorists but Rehman Malik has contacts with them and he keeps giving prior information regarding explosions but does not arrest the saboteurs. Commenting upon the statement of Rehman Malik, Pervaiz Malik said that Malik's disappearance from the scene at the time of attack on Benazir Bhutto Shaheed is highly meaningful and the nation asks him as to why did he go to Bilawal House instead of protecting and ensuring security of Benazir Bhutto.
He said disappearance of Rehman Malik at the time of martyrdom of Benazir Bhutto is a secret which will ultimately be revealed by the time. He further said that when leaders of Peoples Party were escaping from the scene, Quaid PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif reached Rawalpindi hospital to inquire about Benazir Bhutto, by risking his own life.
