The House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFCL) has set disbursement target of Rs 1,900 million for the year 2013 and in order to facilitate the customers to the maximum, has decided to establish Customer Facilitation Centre (CFC) in various cities.
Aimed at to enhance its outreach, effectively market its products, improve its services, branch environment and to further augment its market share, in the 1st phase ten (10) Customer Facilitation Centre (CFC) are being established in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad and would start functioning in the 1st week of March 2013. In the 2nd phase, the facility would be extended to other cities as well. This would be in addition to 52 branch offices of the HBFCL spread all over the country.
According to the Business Development Plan approved by the Managing Director Saeed Khan, special emphasis is being attached to improve the business of HBFCL and therefore a business target of Rs 1,900 million has been tasked to North, Central and South regions for the year 2013 that would be increased to Rs 2,500 million for the year 2014 as a business strategy, said a press release issued here on Tuesday from the office of Group Head Central & Business Development and Marketing.
It is added here that in Pakistan, the Mortgage Financing ratio to GDP is less than 1 per cent despite shortfall of more than 7 million houses in the country and HBFCL is the only public sector organisation providing affordable housing solutions to low and middle income groups in the country for the last six decades and have contributed positively in reducing the shortage of housing units in the country despite negative factors including overall challenging economic conditions, poor law and order and exorbitant inflation.-PR
