Unidentified armed men on Wednesday night hurled hand grenades at Shah Faisal and Baloch Colony police stations. Police said that unknown armed men lobbed a hand grenade at Shah Faisal police station that damaged the outer wall of the station. A man, Sabir, 25, son of Farooq Khan was injured in the attack. The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, who was resident of Pathan colony.
After a brief span of just 20 minutes, another hand grenade was hurled at Baloch colony police station. DIG South Shahid Hayat said although nobody was reported hurt in the attack, it created panic among the residents. Further investigation was underway.
