The Somali pirates responsible for the kidnapping of Pakistani fishermen have been given long-term sentences by a court in the Seychelles. The pirates were captured last year by the Danish Navy Vessel and handed over to the courts in the Seychelles for legal prosecution. This was said in a statement released here by Embassy of Denmark on Wednesday. It further claims that Denmark worked closely with Pakistan to get some of the fishermen to appear as witnesses in the case.
