A 5-member Malaysian delegation of Sains University held a meeting with Sindh University's (SU) vice chancellor Professor Dr Nazir Ahmed Mughal to discuss mutual relations and linkage and vowed to collaborate as soon as possible after the memorandum of understanding (MoU) is signed between both the universities.
In a press statement issued here on Wednesday from PR office, the delegation consisted of senior official of Sains University Dr Zuraida Zainun, Professor Waliullah Syed, Professor Rosli Zakria, Saiful Haizod Ahmed Junaid and Dr Allah obhayo met vice chancellor Professor Dr Nazir A Mughal at his office.
On the occasion, the Malaysian delegation told the vice chancellor that they were interested to work together with the Sindh University aimed at learning and sharing educational experiences with each other. The Vice Chancellor welcomed the perspectives of the guests and said he was pioneer in linkages in Pakistan and as a dean faculty in USA; he developed 51 linkages in different universities in the world.
He further said that he was continuously emphasising the apprentices to pay concentration towards research as it was the need of the day. Dr Mughal said he visited Malaysia last month and was impressed from the slogan "wisdom for change" introduced by the president of NIDA university there adding that such concepts needed to be spread.
