Four government boys' schools blown up in Mohmand Agency

Some unidentified militants blew up boys' schools at Tehsil Safi of Mohmand Agency on Thursday. According to the locals it was around 2:30 am, when they heard loud blasts. Resultantly, four schools - two government primary and two government middle schools were destroyed completely at Qandaro village. Nobody was injured in the blasts as the schools were empty at that time.
The officials of the Education department from Mohmand Agency said the number of schools destroyed in similar explosions has reached to 117. They said that it was the latest attack on government educational institutions in Mohmand Agency. They added that militants have planted locally made explosives.
