All the bars in the province observed mourning day on Monday after deaths in Karachi blast. Pakistan Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council, Supreme Court Bar Association, Lahore High Court Bar Association had asked the legal fraternity to observed mourn day. All district and tehsil bar associations observed mourning and prayed for eternal peace of departed souls and courage for the bereaved families to bear the loss of their loved ones.
Lawyers at district and tehsil bars observed complete boycott of courts to express solidarity with the bereaved families against the terrorism. In Lahore, no lawyers appeared in lower courts. The court adjourned the proceedings of the cases fixed for hearing on Monday.
