Arfa Kareem Centre of Excellence will be set up at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad to disseminate the latest agriculture practices among farming community as per directives of Punjab Government. It was discussed at a meeting held between UAF Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and Arfa Karim Foundation Director Colonel (Retd) and father of Arfa Karim, Amjad Kareem Randhawa.
The VC said that the allocation of space for the establishment will be made shortly whereas funds for the project will be released soon. He said that the university will also use the centre for strengthening the distance learning education for the farming community in order to increase the per acre production.
