Acting Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Karachi Barjees Ahmed has said that the bomb blast at Abul Hassan Isphani Road was a part of American conspiracy to spark sectarian violence in the city. This he said while addressing a press conference at Idara-e-Noor Haq on Wednesday. JI Karachi General Secretary Naseem Siddiqui, Naib Ameer Syed Muhammad Iqbal and others were also present on the occasion.
Addressing a press conference, Ahmed said the entire nation was in deep state of sorrow and grief over the bomb blast, but the target killing incidents are continue. "The strike calls for indefinite period during the prevailing law and order situation is an anti-people decision", he added. He further said that the sovereignty of the country was at stake and anti-state powers were behind the bomb blasts.
On the occasion, JI acting Ameer demanded of the government to initiate probe into the bomb blast immediately and also provide compensation to the affected families of the victims of Abbas Town bomb blasts. He said that the United States, Israel and India by the assistance of anti-state elements are hatching conspiracy against the sovereignty of the country, but the people are well aware from such conspiracies being hatched by anti-state elements.-PR
