Hajj balloting ceremony was held in NIT Head Office, Karachi to select six NIT employees who will perform Hajj this year with their spouseto make a total of 12 persons who will perform Hajj-e-Baitullah on the expenses of NIT. $500 will also be given to each intended Haji for Hajj expenses.
Addressing the NIT employees on this occasion, NIT Chairman/MD Wazir Ali Khoja said that he has doubled the number of employees of NIT Hajj Scheme from 3 to 6 last year and got it approved from board of directors. Khoja also thanked the members of NIT Board of Management for their out right support for transforming the Hajj scheme into a permanent Hajj policy of NIT.
In the lucky draw following six NIT employees were selected for Hajj this year. Akhtar Mehmood of NIT Nazimabad Branch, Aamir Baber Malik Manager Township Branch Lahore, Mrs Attiya Javed civic centre branch Karachi, Muhammad Razaaq Messenger NIT Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Muhammad Mustafa Ahmed senior law officer NIT head office and Ms Quratulain of NIT IFC Karachi. Khoja announced certain other benefits for the employees of NIT who are on the verge of retirement. The ceremony was concluded by Mehfil-e-Millad (SAW).-PR
