Arjun Kapoor pens an emotional note for his late mother
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor started off his movie career almost six years ago and just a few days before the release of his debut movie ‘Ishaqzaade’, the actor lost his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor to cancer.
On the sixth death anniversary of Mona, son Arjun shared a heartfelt note for his deceased mother, remembering her teaching and expressing how much he has missed her throughout his career. Mona died on March 25, 2013 just a month before the release of Arjun’s debut movie ‘Ishaqzaade’.

In the note, the ‘Ki and Ka’ actor says that he wished his mother could have accompanied him to his movie’s premieres and hoped that she was there to see his work, his movies. The actor said everything he and his sister Anshula have achieved till now is all because of her upbringing.
Even though it’s been six years since her demise, Arjun said he feels that she is always there with him, in every step he takes. The actor recently also lost his step mother Sridevi and although the two shared an unpleasant relationship, Arjun and Anshula have been extremely helpful and supportive of their father Boney Kapoor and step-sisters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.
On work front, Arjun is currently working on his upcoming movie ‘Namastey England’ opposite Parineeti Chopra in Patiala, Punjab.
