The National Assembly on Thursday unanimously passed a resolution paying rich tributes to the enduring sacrifices of Benazir Bhutto and her services for the welfare of the people of Pakistan. The resolution was moved by Benazir Income Support Programme Chairperson Farzana Raja, which was adopted by the House unanimously.
It was stated in the resolution that Shaheed BB was the symbol of courage and valour and human rights who also sacrificed her life striving to provide the people their rights. The House resolved that the whole nation would always remember her sacrifices and would never let it squander.
