Officers of US Consulate visit Joseph Colony

District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal visited Joseph Colony along with the officers of American Consulate on Friday. On the occasion, the DCO Lahore briefed the delegation regarding help and rehabilitation activities. He told them that construction work is continuing rapidly and at least 8 or 10 labourers are working on the construction of homes and 7 families have been shifted in their houses.
"The construction work on 60 percent of houses will be completed by evening." The officers of American Consulate appreciated the effort of Punjab government. They said by providing relief to the affected persons of Badami Bagh, the Punjab government has proved that it is taking all possible steps for the protection of minorities.
