ICMA holds seminar on Financial Statement Presentation

ICMA Pakistan - Lahore Branch Council organised a seminar on Financial Statement Presentation with an aim at providing an answer to the continuing and growing need for information and practical guidance on presentation of financial statements. The seminar covered relevant sections of Companies Ordinance 1984 along with discussion on fourth & fifth schedule with IAS-1 and revised formats of financial statements.
Yasir Riaz, FCA, was the instructor of the seminar, who is a specialist in IFRS, UK GAAP and finance training. He is senior partner of an auditing and consulting firm since 2004. The seminar was well attended by ICMAP members, students and Finance Executives from the Industry. Efforts of ICMA Pakistan in promoting financial learning & highlighting new concepts were appreciated during the seminar.-PR
