LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that expatriate Pakistanis are great ambassadors of the country, and it is a responsibility of the state to solve their problems on priority basis. He said this while talking to a delegation of overseas Pakistanis in London, said a press release issued here on Monday.
The CM said that the Punjab government had established Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, which was efficiently working to protect the rights of the overseas Pakistanis.
This commission has emerged as a strong symbol of protection of properties and other assets of Pakistanis living abroad and the establishment of the vibrant department had ensured solution to problems of expatriate Pakistanis effectively.
He said that the OPC Punjab had provided prompt relief to thousands of expatriate Pakistanis by solving their problems.
The CM said that the OPC Punjab had set an example of teamwork and served the people by breaking the barriers of lust, fear and greed.
