A Station House Officer (SHO) was killed while, several students sustained injuries in an armed clash occurred between two students' groups in Quaid-e-Awam Engineering University here on Friday. According to the police sources, two groups of students opened indiscriminate fire on each other in the university. During the clash SHO named Abdul Rahim Khaskheli reached the university and he received serious bullet wounds.
He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital but later succumbed to injuries. The police sources further said that several students were also injured in the clash when two rival groups opened indiscriminate fire on each other. The injured students were shifted to hospital.
