Rape case: LHC seeks report from D&SJ

Lahore High Court has taken serious notice of an alleged rape with a 7th class student in Chiniot and called detailed report from the concerned District and Sessions Judge (D&SJ) about the incident. The court directed D&SJ to issue appropriate directions to DPO and Investigating Officer for fair investigation and secure complete evidence.
D&SJ in his initial report submitted that the accused persons Zafar and Nawaz alias Majo have been arrested. Report said name of the accused Zafar has been got entered in Exit Control List (ECL). Other accused Nawaz, and Aurangzeb are being searched through secret teams. The court had taken notice on the complaint of the parents of the victim who contended that the accused were pressurising them to withdraw the case or face the consequences.
