The former ambassador of Pakistan in United Nations, Hussain Haroon, stressed upon academic community to fully concentrate on spreading and providing standard education to meet the future challenges of global village. He said that the lack of standard education is the only problem that we did not regard till today whereas the concept of separate, independent Muslim country was also sketched in an academic conference in India.
This he observed while addressing Pakistan Day Celebrations organised by the management of IMSA at Sindh Museum Hyderabad today. Haroon said when Congress was being created by Hindu leadership only to represent Hindus of India at that time the participants in the Mohammad an Education Conference decided to demonstrate their political ideology in addition to their academic manifesto. He said that this was the turning point which led the struggle of Pakistan.
Addressing at the ceremony the chairman IMSA Shafique Hyder Musavi said that our country produced eminent scientists, doctors, educationists, etc. He said that we have had talented youth but there is need to provide them with opportunities. He informed that IMSA students have done well not in education but also in extracurricular activities. He informed that IMSA students have made the largest flag of Pakistan which is 600 ft in length and 40 ft in width and made of 1,600 meters fabric.
