A deadly bus crash near Sheikhupura killed at least 23 people besides leaving many injured on Friday late night. According to the police sources, the bus was carrying about 65 people when it swerved off the road and flipped over in the suburbs of Sheikhupura town. The bus had left Lahore for Faisalabad.
More than 30 people suffered injuries and officials feared the death toll could rise, the sources added. The eyewitnesses said over-speeding and negligent behaviour of driver caused the loss of control of the bus.
