The Meteorological department has forecast mostly partly cloudy weather with chances of rain/thunderstorm at scattered places of upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan tonight. However, dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday.
It said widespread rain/thundestorm with isolated heavy falls occurred in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat divisions), upper Punjab (Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions) and Kashmir while isolated rains occurred in Quetta, Zhob, D.I Khan, Bannu, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, D.G.Khan divisions during the past 24 hours. The Met office has advised wheat farmers of irrigated areas to take precautionary measures during the next few days.
