Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim will visit Quetta along with all members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on March 28. ECP spokesperson talking to media person on Tuesday said that CEC Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim accompanied by four members of the commission will visit the provincial capital and hold meetings here with the political leaders of the province.
The purpose of CEC visit to Quetta is to look into the arrangements for upcoming general election in Balochistan, reservations of various stakeholders and hurdles faced in this regard. The EC spokesman said that provincial election commissioner Balochistan has been directed to make necessary arrangements for the purpose.
