Two Muslim League-Q leaders belonging to Bahawalpur including former MPA Sardar Khadim Mehmood Waran and former Tehsil Nazim Bahawalpur Sadr, Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Shoaib Awaisi called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Raiwind Tuesday and announced their decision to join Pakistan Muslim League-N.
Former Provincial Minister Iqbal Ahmad Chunnar was also present on the occasion. Sardar Khadim Mehmood Waran and Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Shoaib Awaisi expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of President PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and said that they had joined PML-N unconditionally.
Appreciating the joining of PML-N by both the leaders, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the PML-N candidates will achieve a thumping victory in the general elections. He said that the PML-N has become the most popular political party of the country and it is the time to get rid of the looters and plunderers. He said that the public meeting of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Mansehra should open the eyes of his political opponents and those making claims of a Tsunami.
