Majority of the Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) showed almost the same assets in 2012, which they declared in 2011. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued details of the assets of 2012 of the former parliamentarians. According to annual statements of assets of the Parliamentarians of 2012, the assets of former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf stood at Rs 85 million in 2011 and there was no change in the assets in 2012.
According to details, the value of immovable property of the former prime minister is Rs 72 million including a house in F-8/4 sector of Rs 40 million, shops in Blue Area of Rs 15 million and agriculture land of Rs 1 million. About the motor vehicles, the former prime minister has Land Cruiser and Toyota model 2001 worth Rs 1.8 million, 10 tolas jewellery of Rs 0.4 million and cash and bank accounts of Rs 2.5 million, etc. The former prime minister is yet to receive Rs 8 million from his brother.
Noor Alam Khan from PPP is the richest former MNA with assets amounting to Rs 32 billion...in previous year his assts were the same. Jamshed Dasti has the least amount of assets with only his salary bank account. Former opposition leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has Rs 8.3 million in his bank account and two motor vehicles including Mercedes of 2010 model and a Pajero of 2005 model.
Nisar has a house in Rawalpindi, a farm house at Chakri, nine residential flats and agriculture land of Rs 42 million in Chakri and other areas of Rawalpindi. Similarly, the former Opposition leader has more than seven plots in DHA Islamabad and other areas of twin cities. Ghulam Ahmed Bilour from ANP has assets worth Rs 39.4 million, while Arbab Alamgir has a net worth Rs 2 billion. Alamgir is also the owner of an apartment in Dubai worth Rs 40 million.
ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has assets worth Rs 10 million including 50 tolas of gold. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has assets worth over Rs 5.5 million. Ameer Muqam from PML-Q has assets worth Rs 160 million and 17 cars. Pervaiz Elahi has Rs 64.1 million in his bank account, wealth worth Rs 8.9 million and investments of Rs 30.49 million. Former National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza has assets of over Rs 80 million and an apartment worth Rs 15 million in Dubai. The Election Commission of Pakistan also issued assets of various political parties including PPPP, Rs 435,397, PML-N, Rs 80 million, MQM, Rs 19.7 million, PTI, Rs 9.46 million, ANP, Rs 27.2 million, JI, Rs 1.85 million and PML-Q, Rs 50.14 million.
