Court records statement of Zia in Avenfield reference

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)'s Additional Director Wajid Zia, who headed the joint investigation team recorded his statement before accountability court Islamabad in Avenfield case against the Sharif family members on Tuesday.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir picked up the reference against former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his family members. The former prime minister reached the accountability court earlier with his family.

After Wajid Zia concluded his statement, the court adjourned hearing of the case till March 28.
