SZABIST hosted an event: "TIDE For Change" in collaboration with Shell Tameer on Saturday at SZABIST Campus, with the aim to promote the entrepreneurship. The prime objective of this seminar was to create awareness about the various platforms available as launching pads for the budding entrepreneurs and introduce the incubation centres and other credit facilities available for the business start ups.
The chief guest for the inauguration session was, Kara Babrowski, Economic Officer US Consulate. This event attended by President SZABIST, Dr Saqib Rizavi, Vice President SZABIST, Dr Amanat Ali Jalbani, faculty, staff and students. Dr Rizavi, addressing the audience during his welcome speech, stated that "SZABIST continuously encouraging students for the entrepreneurship and our young minds have won several awards in various competitions held at other universities.
In his speech he mentioned the collaborations that SZABIST had with a number of bodies like OPEN, US Consulate, TIE and now Shell Tameer which demonstrates the commitment of the institution towards nurturing entrepreneurship. Kara Babrowski, shared that, "Many initiatives of the US government in developing entrepreneurship to promote the economy and also the recently formed US-Pak Women Council which has been established to promote economic opportunities for women in Pakistan".-PR
