Customer is the 'King of Market' and no business can flourish without customer care because it is blessing of Almighty Allah, said Regional Manager National Productivity Organisation (NPO) Kashif Afzal here today. Kashif Afzal stated this while conducting a daylong training programme titled "Caring for Customers" here at Shamim Hall of MCCI.
He said that it was the single subject for the success of any business across the world, but unfortunately, nobody takes care for it. However, he added that the situation was improving after establishment of Consumer Courts in the country. Kashif, an International Finance Corporation (IFC) Certified trainer and RGM Lahore, said that Islam had placed special emphasis on customer care and forbidden weighing less and adulteration etc.
"No customer care is anti-Islam," he said and added that every business followed some ethics as well. "We should take care of customer rights as on Doom Day we will have to be held responsible for it." The training programme was held under World Bank in Collaboration of NPO and MCCI.
The training consisted of four sessions entitled" Understand the importance of Customer, "Identification of the Customers: Who they are? Learning: "What is caring for Customers and Meaning of Satisfaction for Customers?" The Multan Chambers of Commerce and Industry president, Muhammad Khan Sadozai and Senior Vice President Bakhtawar Tanvir Sheikh and Secretary-General Khurram Javed also attended the training programme. The participants hailed from fertiliser, textile, banking sectors besides business students.
