A delegation of Chinese journalists visited Lahore Museum and historic Shalimar Garden here on Sunday. Members of the delegation evinced keen interest in the historic relics and the items relating to ancient civilisation. They also obtained information about historic monuments and pictures relating to Pakistan movement.
Lahore Museum officer Nomia Khadim gave a detailed briefing about the historic artefacts preserved in various sections of the museum. Later, members of the delegation also visited historic Shalimar garden constructed by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan and appreciated the art of architecture. They also appreciated the natural beauty of Shalimar garden and preservation arrangements of this historic monument. Members of the delegation include representatives and Bureau Chiefs of Chinese newspapers, People's Daily, Economic Daily, China Radio International and CCTV of China.
