The returning officer after scrutiny accepted the nomination papers of Badam Zari, the first tribal woman to contest general elections. It is to be mentioned here Badam Zareen is the first woman in the tribal history to contest for a seat of National Assembly.
She has submitted nomination papers for NA-44 Bajaur Agency and completed first phase successfully. Badam Zari told media persons that her aim to take part in the general election was to serve the tribal women.
