A man shot dead his wife and cousin in the name of honour here in Landi Sarak area, police said on Friday. According to police, the accused Akhtar, along with his two brothers allegedly opened fire on his wife Shad Bibi and cousin Ismail, killing both of them on the spot.
The accused after committing the crime fled the scene. Police said the accused had suspicion that his wife had illicit relations with his cousin.
