In order to monitor the activities and resolving issues of candidates, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has established an Election Cell in the city, which would be led by Taj Haider. Professor ND Khan, Senator Moula Bux Chandio, Senator Saeed Ghani, Waqar Mehdi, Shehla Raza, Shama Mithani, Rukhsana Zubairi and Latif Mughal would be the members of the Election Cell. The team would operate from the media cell of PPP near Bilawal House.
When contacted, Latif Mughal, who is also Secretary Information of PPP Karachi Division, told Business Recorder that the election cell would work like a monitoring institution. "We will supervise the election process in Sindh and would be in contact with every candidate," he added.
